1984 Grand Ole Opry Spectacular Printed Program with Original Ticket Stub
Signed by Kitty Wells, Billy Walker, and Bobby Helms.
Original owner. I'm the Susan to whom two of the three autographs are inscribed. The Spectacular took place in Portland, Oregon.
Program includes pics and mini bios for all nine solo performers and one featured group, in this order:
Porter Wagoner
Little Jimmy Dickens
Kitty Wells
Johnny Wright
Bobby Wright
Original Drifting Cowboys
Billy Walker
Lucille Starr
Tex Williams (who died the year after this tour)
Bobby Helms
I believe Bobby Wright (son of Kitty Wells and Johnny Wright) is the only featured performer still living.
Closed, this program is 11 x 8.25". It has a stapled binding, a glossy cover, and matte pages inside. Some minor staining and age-related wear on covers. Blue ink was used throughout, and some of the ink from the front and rear cover graphics bled through to the other side (see third pic as sample). The interior pages, however, are clean. No tears or dog-eared corners.
